Henrik Nilsson

Have you ever wondered why photography seems to be so popular these days? The digital age has certainly inspired many. For me photography is a way to stop time. It's a way to capture a memory, a moment or perhaps even a feeling. Some photographs convey a little, some convey a lot. But when a photograph is done right, when it is done JUST right, it speaks volumes. And that means everything.
Most of my work is centered around wildlife - particularly carnivores. I do also shoot landscape images. And occasionally I do point my camera at other subjects I find of interest. The vast majority of my wildlife images are captured in the wild and without bait, luring or calls.
I live in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Unless noted, all photographs are taken in the wild. I typically do not use bait (well, except for bird seed in my back yard).
