Cranes and Herons

This is a great shot of a great blue heron in flight. I still haven't captured one yet ... or a green heron ... or a snowy egret. I'm not ready when they are. But the year is young. The great blue is just starting to return to this part of California.

Beautiful shot of a great blue in flight. I've had more luck with dragonflies in flight than the great blue heron, green heron, snowy egrets... This is really splendid!
